Maria has been practicing law for over 20 years. She first received her Bachelor of Nursing Degree in 1993 from the University of Windsor. While working as a nurse at Hotel Dieu Hospital in Windsor and several hospitals in Michigan, she got her Teaching Degree, also from the University of Windsor. Finally, she obtained her Bachelor of Law Degree from the University of Windsor Law School and was called to the Bar in February of 2000.
