Messages and privacy

Updated October 19, 2026

Each account sets its own inbox passphrase. Messages are encrypted in the browser; the admin reviews sending records without reading message content. A lost passphrase cannot be recovered. Do not share it, and verify your recipient before sending sensitive information.

What the service stores

The service uses your signed-in identity to associate listings, registrations, saved offices and messages with your account. It stores encrypted message content and operational metadata, including sender, recipient, office, timestamps and delivery or review status. Administrators review sending records rather than message text.

Your inbox passphrase

Your inbox has a separate passphrase used to unlock its encrypted key vault in your browser. Keep it private and use a trusted device. Losing it can make previous messages inaccessible. Encryption does not prevent a recipient from copying a message or protect an already compromised device.

Notifications and privacy requests

When configured and enabled, email notifications alert an office to a new message without including the confidential message body. Contact support to ask about your account data, corrections or deletion. Do not include confidential legal information in a support email. See the privacy notice for additional service details.
